MEDITAC INTERNATIONAL LECTURE SERIES

MedITAC has developed a series of lectures for international
collaborative distance learning. The following lectures are available
for previewing. There will be weekly sessions held in which MedITAC
will host a videoconference forum via H.323 format. The purpose
of the forum will be to allow participants the opportunity to interact,
to ask questions, and to discuss the lecture. This promises to be
an excellent learning tool for physicians, residents, and medical
students alike, and will construct the groundwork for future distant
learning efforts.
TIME: Proposed time 7:30 am to
8:15 am Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5:00)
WHEN: Weekly
DURATION: Ongoing
WORKING AGENDA: The current presentation
will be discussed. A technical evaluation of all interactions and
records will be kept. Logged medical students will participate in
debates and questions will be encouraged, structured, recorded,
and evaluated. These clinical conferences will occur regularly and
they will be captured on digitized tape. E-mail will be provided
to all sites participating and those interested in participating
on a weekly basis. This will include a schedule of upcoming events,
news contributed by various sites, matters of common interest, etc.
Some presentations will require the RealMedia G2 player www.Real.com
