ENGINEERING THE FUTURE OF MEDICINE SEMINAR
SERIES

MedITAC strives to foster an atmosphere of intellectual sharing
and collaborative undertakings. The birth of many great ideas can
be traced to the cooperative exchange of ideas between different
specialties, each offering their unique perspective, aimed to solve
a common challenge.
"Specialization, although a necessary feature of our civilization,
needs to be supplemented by integration of thinking across disciplines."
-Professor Murray Gell-Mann, 1969 Nobel Laureate in Physics
These seminars address areas of challenge in the life sciences
that will only be solved by broad interaction between the medical
and engineering communities. The topics bring together panels from
the medical and engineering communities to discuss possibilities,
challenges, and to search for novel collaborative approaches to
critical scientific issues.
